In naturopathy, changing eating habits is not synonymous with deprivation or a new fad diet. Instead, things fall into place slowly, with support that allows habits to settle in gradually. By wanting to move too quickly in the changes, the notion of pleasure will be absent, there won’t be a proper reconnection to food to learn what is good or not for you, and therefore conclusive results won’t be achieved.

The process of food rebalancing starts with the change that will benefit the body the most. This could be, for example, eliminating sugars in the morning, and consuming sweets in the middle of the afternoon only. Once this change is in place after a few weeks, a second change can be initiated.

Being accompanied with naturopathic tools  helps to learn how to prioritise changes, according to what is most important, according to the state of health and what we are able to do without risking becoming discouraged.
